According to USCIS, 2 year EAD should only be issued to person whose PD is
NOT
current at the time EAD is issued. So if you get a 2 year EDA, it should
mean they
think you were not current. It should, if everybody in the USCIS knows what
he is
doing, but as everybody knows, it is not alway the case. But for your own
sake,
you should check it out.

really? I got 2 yr EAD for my Eb1b... Hope it is just a rumor...

USCIS does say that 2 year EAD is only for applicants with non-current PD.
But an officer at TSC just told me 5 minutes agao that USCIS just issues 2
year EAD now to all or most applicants in order to make their life easier.

That's not true. I got my EAD with 2 years, but got green card two weeks
later. I don't think they even bother to look for your PD before issue/deny
of EAD.

if they give u 2 years, it's just mistakes. Uscis makes mistakes all the
time. Please don't waste your time on guessing around.
Uscis issue one year EAD for EB2, what conclusion you get from that?

别担心这个，见有人说EAD给了两年的，但140 和485 在随后的一个月内就批准了。
