I received RFE a few days ago and below is the online notification from
USCIS
after they received my RFE package mailed out this Monday. In the response,
USCIS said it will make a decision within 60 days. My priority date is
August,
2006 and the current priority date is Feb. 2005. Do you think if I have any
chance of getting my green card within 60 days even if I am still way behind
current priority date? Thanks!

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO
ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case
processing
has resumed.

On March 19, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence. We
will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from
you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You
should
expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the
date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview
are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in
which
case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be
done.

60 days making decision means they make a decision whether your response is
good, not approving your gc in 60 days.

By the way, it's just standard status, don't feel excited.

doesn't it say "written decision or written update"? Apparently, in this
case, you will receive an update in 60 days, which basically would say "we
have received your material, and good luck waiting..."
