My PD is current.

I have been to infopass 4 times up to now, and have talked with 4 different
information officers. 3 out of 4 are very nice. I was told that my I485 was
reviewed on Feb 13th and March 18th in this year. The case however has not
been assigned to adjudicator yet.

I did contact US senator in my state twice. The first inquiry result came to
me in early March, and the response from USCIS (attached to the senator's
reply) says:

From: TSC, Congressional Inquiries
To: Senator XXX
Cc:TSC,ADJ INQUIRIES
Subject: (XXXXX) RE: Last name, AXX XXX XXX
I've sent a request to the I485 manager for the case (AXX-XXX-XXX) to be
reviewed and processed. Your constituent should receive notification in 30-
60 days.

Thank you for your inquiry and please do not hesitate to contact us again if
you have further questions regarding this case.

My second inquiry was faxed to the senator's office in last week. No
response yet.

I got one of the exact same letter like yours from my congressman inquiry.
And then I called uscis and did infopass too. I was told that my case was
assigned to IO.

It seems to me that congressional inquiry does provide me the most authentic
case info (at least I am wishfully thinking this way to just ease my pain).
However my case is still pending as of now.

You can try to call your senator office again. I called my congressman
office and just want to make sure they will follow up with uscis again once
it passes the 60 days limit.

Keep trying and also be prepare to reserve your legal right to go to court
if needed.

Do you still remember how long it took for your case to be assigned to IO
after you got response from your congressman?

I got the congress letter dated 2/10/09 said they got reply from TSC
congressional relation (attached the email style letter), then from my
infopass, i learned that my case was with IO since 2/11/09. So, it looks
like it took only one day, but i am not very sure why my case is still
pending till now.

Sometimes it takes about 4 weeks for case to be approved by adjudicator. You
can find this info by googling "i485 assigned to IO"

Yours is very close to approval.
