12.1 : I received receipt notice from NBC (receipt number
starting MSC)
12.2 : Call 1-800 to request for expedition. A very nice lady
comforted me about the family emergency, and sent a fax on my behalf.
She asked me to do nothing until a officer calls me in 5 days. She also
suggested me to make an appointment with Infopass in case the expedition
request is denied. I could walk into a local office and explain the situation in
that case. If they are able to stamp my passport i can leave US legally.
12.5 : Got a phone call from USCIS asking for a doctor's letter
verifying the medical emergency
12.6-12.8: Looking for the doctor and asking her to sign the letter. ask
my friend in China scanned it and emailed it me.
12.9 : Send fax with the doctor's letter
12.10 : Got email saying they got the fax. I should wait for a decision
12.11 : Got email saying AP has been approved and mailed.
